The Sheffield Wednesday Training Ground is a privately owned training facility to the north of Sheffield, less than one kilometre from the famous Hillsborough Stadium, home of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, the Owls.The training ground is on Middlewood Road (B6102) and is accessible by good public transport links including the Supertram Urban Light Railway.
The facility has its own private parking and there are indoor and outdoor training facilities, including three full-size outdoor natural grass football pitches, one sand-filled outdoor pitch and a further synthetic pitch housed in our 66m x 45m Air Dome.Security is provided on site, and the facilities include full changing / dressing room facilities, medical and treatment rooms, private office space and rest and relaxation facilities. This area of Sheffield gives easy access to the Peak District National Park.
