Sheffield is home to the City of Sheffield Swimming Club, one of the most successful squads in Great Britain and currently one of the top ranked clubs. The club benefits from having two full-time internationally experienced British coaches training a squad that includes 11 GB internationals.
City of Sheffield swimmers James Kirton and James Crisp qualified for the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic games respectively.
