Ponds Forge International Sports Centre is the largest and best-specified diving pool in Great Britain. It has springboards at 1m and 3m, and platforms from 1m to 10m. As a training and competition facility it is unparalleled in the UK.
As for major events hosted, Sheffield recently staged the British Grand Prix, has hosted the FINA World Series in 2007 through to 2009 and will be hosting the event again in 2011. It is a pool of world renown, and is used by athletes from all over the world.
